Hi, @eRic_LaU

PBIRS typically require a SQL Server database for internal configuration and storage. If you only have MySQL, you may need to install SQL Server as the configuration database for PBIRS. MySQL can be used as a data source for reports, but not as a configuration database for PBIRS.
You need to set up a SQL Server database first. PBIRS needs this database to store its configuration and report metadata. Without this setting, you'll encounter an error when you try to configure the Web Service URL and Web Portal URL. You can check the folloing link:

SQL Server installation guide - SQL Server | Microsoft Learn

If setting up PBIRS and SQL Server isn't feasible, you might consider using Power BI Service, a cloud-based service, to share your reports. This allows you to publish your reports to Power BI Service and share them over your network. Alternatively, you can export the report to PDF or PowerPoint and share it manually over the intranet.

Dear Yongkang,

Thanks for your great help, after setting up the data source the report still keep loading and one more issue i'm now using free trial version. Is that the reason i don't have embed function? or is just i havn't setup the data source?
