Is it possible to create a link in a Power BI dashboard that connects to an external link, and when you click back, will it return you to a specific page? I am using Power BI optimized for the reporting server.
I have tried this but it is not working it returns me to the landing page:
NOTE: This is an edited sample link, not a real one.

Hello @tmhalila ,
For Power BI Service that works like that.
First of all copy embed code the report from Power BI Service.
For example your embed code:
https://app.powerbi.com/reportEmbed?reportId=test1&autoAuth=true&ctid=test2
İf you'd like to navigate to related page the code needs to be like below:
Red Higlight is the reportsection which means page name guid. Sometimes it gives only number sometimes it gives with ReportSection...
target=_blanktarget=_blanktarget=_blanktarget=_blankhttps://app.powerbi.com/reportEmbed?reportId=te...&pageName=ReportSectiontest3
But for the report server. there is no option. there is no reportsection page guid. Therefore you need to create another report for the page and give embed link like your example.
Kind Regards,
Gökberk Uzuntaş

Thank you, @uzuntasgokberk Creating another report for the page isn't resource-effective, so I'll return to the landing page instead. I will also submit this as a ticket to Microsoft, as there may be times when it's necessary to return to the dashboard, especially when using Paginated Reports.
Hello @tmhalila ,
Thanks for feedback. Could you please share the ticket when you open it. I'm also wonder what microsoft will act on this issue.
Kind Regards,
Gökberk Uzuntaş
