Why is one of my matrix visual in the same Power BI version without any theme is showing stylistic formatting by default and the other one isn't?
I checked the settings and everything seems same.
The two matrix visuals may have different visual-level formatting saved, even if the theme and settings look identical. Try using the Format pane Reset to default on the one showing different styling, and compare options like Grid, Values, Headers, and Subtotals. If it still happens, create a new matrix visual and compare sometimes copied visuals keep hidden formatting or encounter version-specific bugs.
Hi @kiraa,
In the 2nd Matrix Visual it is shown that way because you have "on-object interaction" feature enabled - This is a Preview Feature. To turn off, select File > Options and settings > Options > Preview Features > On-object interaction - turn off.
Microsoft Reference - Use on-object interaction with visuals in your report (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
