Excel workbook refresh with SSAS connection on Report Server

Hi,

I have a bunch of Excel workbooks connected to an on-prem tabular model (SSAS). I publish these reports by uploading them to an on-prem Power BI Report Server.

However, while the refresh data upon opening workbook works fine locally and also worked fine in a former Sharepoint site, the workbooks do not refresh upon opening when uploaded to Power BI Report Server.

Is this feature supported in such a setup? Or is there another way to refresh data and make sure the users see updated data?

Thanks in advance!

Please check whether you have used a correct ssas credential to connect the tabular model in Report Server.
