I have posted this question before and not received a useful answer, but somehow it was marked as Solved, so trying again.
I am trying to access this data from the DataSet Settings page:
Logging is enabled but the logs (and the performance reports based on them) do not include this data . The closest I can get is this and it isn't useful:
Where can I get the the very simple data displayed on the DataSet Settings View History window?

Nope. That tool requires a dataset ID which no user will ever recognize and doesn't return a report. I;m going to start poking around in the logs to see what I can find.
It looks like this only pulls the ID as well (no dataset name) but I will check it out.
