From your description, it seems that you add two columns in Query Editor, and these two columns doesn't display after publish to the Power BI service, right?
In your scenario, please make sure you apply the change and load these two columns to data mode. You can go to the Data tab check if new columns exactly exist. Also make sure "Hide in Report View" isn't be checked.
