help! sort slicer chronologically

I have no idea why my fiscal yweek slicer isn't going from 1-53 in order. Can someone please help?

Hi , @lennyt99 

This happens because your field is in a text format.Power BI sorts you in text format.

If you want to sort by Date , you can select the filed , and click "Sort By Column" in "Column Tools" , like this:
