Hi all,
I try to achieve a report with a 'group by' which uses flexible column names.
The column names are handed over from another table which is filled with a different manual edited name, every time i run the report differently. In my example it is "Testname"
The datatable has a basic headline (in my example it is "Value") and is renamed within the query with the parametername from above.
But I got stuck at the point where I want to group my data table with a sum of my renamed column as it requires a flexible name.
Below you can find a screenshot of the query and in the second screenshot I highlighted the field which should actually be filled with the parametername as fieldname.
Maybe I'm stupid but currently I can't find a way out to achieve that.
Every help is appreciated. Thanks!
Regards,
Sammy

List.Sum(Table.Column(_,#"para_name"))
Hi, @Sammy_home ;
I'm a little confused, are you trying to dynamically sum Testname? Is testname from another table? Can you provide a simple file and a display of the results you wish to output?
