data changes after refresh google analytics

Hi,

I have been trying to work with google analytics pulling data into power BI. I have 8 different  views split into two properties under two accounts. I am trying pull data individually and then union them for reporting purposes. I am having the below issues.

1. The data changes when refresh s performed.

2. I am pulling Month of the year, sessions, bounces, users, page load time, page load sample into a table for 8 views. for some views the data in powerBI matches with the Google analytics. I have cross checked if any filters have been applied but none were present.

Any help would be appreciated.

This could be due to Google Analytics sampling your data. The sampled sessions are not guaranteed to the same equal for each query. (https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/Google-Analytics-Reports/Visitor-numbers-changing/td-p/1650901)

How much traffic, hits,  do you have per day in one of you views?

When using the PBI built-in connector you might run into all sorts of reliability issues. I recommend reading my article on this subject.

There is a solution to your problem.

@rdasappa ,

What result would you like to get in Power BI Desktop after refreshing report? Could you please share sample data of your tables and post expected result here?

Regards,
Lydia
