I created 3 new columns using a sql statement data pull. All three columns do show up in the power query Editor.
However, when I click "Apply & Close" only one of the 3 columns are showing up in modeling and able to be used.
why is this happening and how can fix it?
Thank you,
L-
I found in the advanced editor , that code was in the "Let" space to remove the two columns for some reason. does anyone know why this happens?
It could be a few different reasons. They may have been selected and you may have accidentally hit the delete key on the keyboard... based on where you are accessing Power BI (desktop, online, etc), Power Query may have omitted them for some reason - this can sometimes happen if the columns do not have the proper data type assigned or if values contain invalid types or erroneous data.
Hello - can you please post examples of your data, scripts, screen snips, etc.? This will help us identify the problem. Without any other information, I recommend you go back into the Power Query editor, select all columns of the table and then choose Keep Rows with Errors from the ribbon and let the query run to see if there are any errors in those two columns that are in the rows beyond the first 1000, which is all that typically is evaluated in the Power Query editor.
