calculating in QUERY excel

Query excel

 INeed help calculating in QUERY.

I want to calculate a column that will give me a planned production quantity for the shift.

I have the possible/maximum output in each shift. And I have total demand.

The goal is to split the demand into shifts.. possible between 1-3 shifts.

(In Excel the calculation simply activates a reduction).

Thanks

sefi

Hi @sef ,

I guess that you want to use groupby feature in Power Query, please kindly refer to

Grouping or summarizing rows - Power Query | Microsoft Learn

In Power Query, you can group values in various rows into a single value by grouping the rows according to the values in one or more columns. You can choose from two types of grouping operations:

  • Column groupings.

  • Row groupings.

Best Regards,

Stephen Tao
