I'm having issues with workspace members being able to "see" the team OneDrive site I've created for a workspace.
I've created several version 2 workspaces, and added several roles to each. Each of the roles are an Active Directory group that is synchronized to our Azure Active Directory. I have no problem adding these groups, and the users within each group can get to their respective workspaces with no problem.
I then went and created the SharePoint Team sites to enable OneDrive sites for the workspaces. I ccreated the team sites with no issues. I go back into PBI and "link" the new V2 workspaces to the new SharePoint/OneDrive sites, again, with no issues. When I went back to the PBI workspaces and choose "Get Files" the new OneDrive sites are visible - to me.
Lastly, I added the Azure Active Directory groups to their respective SharePoint groups within the team site.
Afte rall this, users are still unable to see the newly created team OneDrive site when trying to add files.
Is there some other step that needs to happen? Are AAD groups not able to see OneDrive sites (which wouldn't make sense)?
Any insight into this would be appreciated.
Thanks!
@Anonymous ,
When you create sharepoint team website, you should also assign the members who can visit the sharepoint team website like below:

Yes...
I have already done that. As I mentioned in my initial post, I have added AAD groups to their respective team sites, and members are still unable to see the OneDrive in PBI workspaces. PowerBI_Marketing_Admin, PowerBI_Marketing_Users, and PowerBI_Marketing_Contributors are all AAD groups that are in our environment. The members of these groups can see their PBI workspaces without any issues. They cannot see the workspace specific OneDrive. The AAD groups are members of the corresponding team site groups:
- Site Owners >> PowerBI_Marketing_Admin
- Site Members >> PowerBI_Marketing_Contributor
- Site Visitors >> PowerBI_Marketing_User
But again, PBI users an access the member site directly, can view documents folder and see docuents, there's just no One Drive icon/block showing for the team specific One Drive site.
Thanks
