Week evolution with new file

Hello everyone,

I'm curently trying to create an evolutive report on power BI.

Indeed each week, I'm generating a new Excel file with new data but same modelisation (same columns and row names but the data inside is updated). So here is my porblem, how to create a Power BI report that I can refresh only once. With inside the new data analyse but also a graphic showing the evolution of this data.

(For those who know the program, I'm trying to manage the evolution of clash detections in revizto wich I have to do every week).

Thank you for everything!

Hi @Anonymous

You can try the Folder connector in Power BI. In every week, name the Excel file with week number, and put all Excel files into the same folder. When you connect to this folder, you will have all files in it. You can combine files then. It will combine data from all files into a single query. In the single query, there is a [Source.Name] column which has file names, indicating week number of the data. You can compare this week's data from previous week's data to see the evolution.
