Hello,
I am unable to refresh a dataset once published to the Power BI service, and my query does not contain any dynamic references. It is simply:
Source = Xml.Tables(Web.Contents("ftp://ftp.bom.gov.au/anon/gen/fwo/IDN11060.xml")),
I am not sure why this is failing - the credentials are anonymous and there is nothing dynamic in the URL?

Hi Maggie,
There is no need for an on premises gateway with Web.Contents as it is connecting to all sources in the cloud.
I have fixed the problem by changing the Web.Contents method to connect to a HTTP instead of an FTP source.
It appears the issue lies solely with connecting to FTP contents.
Hi @Anonymous
Do you use a on premises gateway?
It seems when connecting with the web connector, it would need on premises gateway to refresh successfully.
