We currently have a mariadb hosted in azure which until Friday afternoon last week was pulling data in to powerbi with no issues. Now, in M365, when trying to get the data to refresh, we are getting variants of this error.
We were unable to find a database provider with invariant name 'MySql.Data.MySqlClient'.
Hi @KyleMCI ,
One possible solution is to ensure that the MySQL connector is installed and up-to-date. You can download the latest version of the connector from the MySQL website. Additionally, you may want to check the connection string to ensure that it is correct and up-to-date.
Another possible solution is to check the firewall settings for the MySQL server. It is possible that the firewall is blocking connections from Power BI. You may need to add an exception to the firewall to allow connections from Power BI.

Stephen Tao
