View data in Edit Form based on Selected Gallery Item which is Patching Data to a SP List

Hi, 

I am currently working on an attendance checklist and have set up a Gallery which auto populates the name list based on a dropdown menu (indicating location). This Gallery allows me to mark their attendance and Submit this data, which with the help of Patch function gets stored into a Sharepoint List. 

I now want to be able to include an Edit option in case there is a need to change the attendance status and re-patch the new data into the existing Sharepoint list. For this I have an Edit Icon which takes me to an Edit form to be able to make the updates. 

The problem that I am encountering is I wish to have certain details such as Name, Location already read and displayed in the form based on the Gallery row selected and only be able to edit their Attendance details. 

So far all the code I have tried by reading other community posts have not worked. Is there a way in which this can be done?
