Hello,
I need help for a scenario, which Im struggling with right now...
Below is the data , which has a Parent Id ,Customer Id and Name. Customer Id is Unique and Names without a Parent Id is the Parent and its corresponding ID under Parent Id column is the Child.
Im trying to create a parameter for Parent ID Like 'Select Parent' It should have only Parent Name like as in the below example its A,B,C. Selecting any Parent it should list the Customers of the Parent.
Any help regarding this scenario would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
| Customer Id | Parent Id | Name |
| 13 | 1 | AA |
| 14 | 1 | BB |
| 15 | 1 | CC |
| 1 | A | |
| 16 | 2 | DD |
| 17 | 2 | EE |
| 2 | B | |

Hi @DivyaJohn ,
According to your description, here's my solution.
Create a Parent table.
Parent =
SELECTCOLUMNS (
FILTER ( 'Table', 'Table'[Parent Id] = BLANK () ),
"Parent Id", 'Table'[Customer Id],
"Name", 'Table'[Name]
)
Relate the Customer Id in fact table with Parent Id in Parent table.
Put Parent Id in Parent table in slicer, get the result:
I'm not sure if this is the result you want, if not, please explain more about the expected result.
