Hi, I need R or Python script to transform column "Name" to column "Name" without accent.
I have downloaded R Open and tried this.
# 'dataset' holds the input data for this scriptdataset$text <- iconv(dataset$text, from = 'UTF-8', to = 'ASCII//TRANSLIT')output <- dataset
ERROR:
Formula.Firewall: Query 'Employees' (step 'Run R script') references other queries or steps, so it may not directly access a data source. Please rebuild this data combination.
Anyone who has experience with this?
That's the regular formula firewall warning - use the standard methods to work around that (privacy levels etc)
What's preventing you from doing this in Power Query directly?

Hi @Anonymous
You can try the solution provided in the 5th message in the community discussion you followed. It uses Power Query without R. I have tested it and find it work well.
For the error you met, can you provide your M code from Advanced editor? According to the error message, Query 'Employees' (step 'Run R script') references other queries or steps, did you do any modifications in it? Which other queries or steps are referred?
I found some articles and discussions related to this error, you may find them helpful.
