Hi fellow PBI users,
I would like to know how to include a cell value in a column reference.
I need that as part of a Table.ReplaceValue step.
I would like to reference one of 3 columns of my table named: "Level 1", "Level 2" and "Level 3".
Another column "IsTotal" contains for each row the values 1, 2 or 3.
So I would like to be able to have some sort of dynamic reference. I tried the following: [Level&" "[IsTotal]]
But it does not work of course.
Many thanks in advance
Antoine
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you can post a sample table and with reference to that if you can describe what you are trying to replace that would be great.
There are many ways to access variable column name but it would be context specific. Like at a record level, I can access the value like this
Record.Field(_,"Level "&Text.From([IsTotal]))
Hi @Vijay_A_Verma ,
Thanks for the prompt reply!
Your solution works perfectly.
Thank you so much
