Union Help

I dont think this is a union though.  I am not sure how to describe technically but the following is what I need:

I have 2 lists

V1 and V2

I need to show:

  1. Keep what is a match between both lists
  2. Remove what is on V1 but not on V2 (means it was paid)
  3. Add what is on V2 but not on V1 (these are new invoices)

It seems the solution is a combination of queries. (not sure of the technical terms)

I believe this could be done in power query?

The criteria would be on

1. Co Name

2. Invoice No

3. Amount

Grateful for the guidance.

Let me know if there are any questions.

Please see attached simple example (I see I cant upload...link provided instead).  My dataset is much larger than this though.

Hi @Centaur

It looks like a V2 left outer join V1

Also, how are you able to upload documents?  I do not see how to do this.

this is all I see on my end and I do not see an icon to attach a file.

Vera, Is this the result you get?  I managed to set it up in PQ.
