Hi Team, I have a but of a stumbling block where I have a dataset that is in DirectQuery - it is a Goals table (e.g. the Scorecards feature in Power Bi Service). However, it gives very limited options to manipulate the data because it's DirectQuery.
This currently houses around 150 metrics, which has all of our Targets and MTD figures against each target. I need to be able to add a second calculation based on another tables of mine which has all of our business unit id's. However, i'm unable to add a column inside my Goals table without exporting the data out using CSV, and then the whole thing becomes a whole lot more manual.
Does anyone have any expereince in working with the Metrics feature inside Power Bi, and tiying it up with other data?
Hi @albertax ,
I am not sure if I understood your question correctly. Do you want to add calculated columns to the dataset directly on Service? Then maybe you can try the table editor.
