The name "IF" wasn't recognized. Make sure it's spelled correctly

Hi,

i try to create a column that find cancelled orders based on another column with description (inside the text of this column there is a word "cancelled"). To make this i use the following formula on "custom column formula" in Custom Column window, but it doesnt work and return the message "The name "IF" wasn't recognized. Make sure it's spelled correctly".

IF(ISERROR(FIND("Cancelled",[DESCRIPTION]),"Orders cancelled",""))

Can anyone help me?

Thank you so much !!

Hi @Matte_Div ,

This is in Power Query.

if
Text.Contains(Text.Upper([DESCRIPTION]), "CANCEL")
then "Orders Cancelled"
else ""

Hope this helps
