Tabular Editor Scripting for Power BI Transformations

Hi,

Should a model update using tabular editor script add a new transformation step in the M code? I tried executing a script to remove unused columns from the model and I did not see an addditional step in Mcode after saving the changes to the model though the columns were removed. Could anyone guide me here?

No, Tabular Editor makes changes via XMLA endpoint. If you remove a coumn that your M needs, you will get an error.

After refreshing the PBIX file, removed columns were re-appearing in the file. Do you know why this would be happening?
