I have the following survey Data. Want to calculate the total survey taken by location, Type of Survey.
Please help.

I am not clear about your requirement, if possible, could you please inform me more detailed information(such as your expected output and your sample data (by OneDrive for Business))? Then I will help you more correctly.
By the way, I think you could put data in table visual and use count function to create countof survey. You could refer to my sample for details.

Total Survey taken by type, Location and for a particular year.
Slicers will be Type, Location and Year.

Doesn't it work if you drag the fields on a table and filter by slicers ? Or you have any kind of filter to apply ?
Try it using COUNTROWS.
