Strangeness after changing column type

Hello there!

 

I think I encountered a strange bug. In the Query Editor, when I changed the type of a column from "text" to "decimal", the returned values were always multiplied by 100. Why did this happen? It has always worked until today. I didn't change anything in the settings. But today when I refreshed the data, this happened.
