Power Query Desktop has supported split a column by delimiter into rows for some time.. it is a very common requirement.
I have just started using Data Flows on the Power BI platform HOWEVER the split column feature does not have the option to split into columns. Is this feature not available - is there any other way to achieve this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can add a custom column using the Text.Split([ColumnWithDelimitedValues], ",") (or whatever you delimiter is). That will create a List on each row, and then you can expand that column choosing "Expand to new rows".
