I have managed to create an index column that appears to be working how i need it to (i have added that total field in screenshot view)
What I would like to do is have the final view to show the maximum value of the column
so instead of showing all iterations 1,2,3 - i would just like it to show the total (max) for that item and then overall total
Can someone please help 🙂

You can add index column starting from 1, and then replace 1 with null.

his is the data, i hope it copies ok.
Bascially the first instance there is no recurrence as its the first iteration the second shows 1 but should be 2 so the overall total of this one would be 11 and not 10 - its ok if that repeats on each row
