Setting up file Refresh - Data Gateway

Good afternoon everyone.

Im currently struggling setting up refresh in the data gateway for a file : See the below error:

 I know he credentials work and I can navigate to the location from within the domain. Any ideas would help:

In Power BI Service, refreshing against a .xls file is not supported. As stated in this article, Power BI supports importing or connecting to workbooks created in Excel 2007 and later. Workbooks must be saved as .xlsx or .xlsm file type.

In your scenario, please change Excel file form type .xls to .xlsx, then add the Excel data source under gateway following the steps in this similar thread: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Integrations-with-Files-and/Scheduled-refresh-for-excel-file-with-o... .
