Hi,
We encountered a problem refreshing a certain report in POWER BI.
The report refreshed properly until a few days ago. But suddenly, without any added action, it failed to refresh from POWER BI web with the following error:
Data source error: | ODBC: ERROR [IM003] Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126: The specified module could not be found. (Simba Google BigQuery ODBC Driver, D:\SvcFab\_App\analysisserver.backendapptype_App3612\analysisserver.backend.servicepackage.Code.2018.11.4.37\workloads\AS.2018.11.4.204\MDataEngine\ODBC Drivers\Simba Google BigQuery ODBC Driver\GoogleBigQueryODBC_sb64.dll).. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: vYesterdaysPricingData. |

All the data for this report comes from GOOGLE BIGQUERY, and it seems that the data access via the cloud was rejected because the driver needs to be updated.
We installed the Simba driver on our computers (https://cloud.google.com/bigquery/partners/simba-drivers/), but apparently that's not enough.
The report on the POWER BI DESKTOP in our computer is able to refresh, but in the PBI web Server it still gives us an error.
After consulting with relevant parties, this driver must probably be installed on the computer on which Microsoft installed the GATEWAY, I.e. on a server.
We assume this relates to PBI Premium – but this is just an assumption,
I'd be happy to get help from you.

@Anonymous,
It doesn't require gateway to refresh Google bigquery data source in Power BI Service. You may hit the known issue released in Power BI Support site. Please keep an eye on the update time.
Regards,
Lydia

Yes this driver needs to be installed on the Gateway. That is going to be the most likely cause of the issue.
