SAP BW Connector - Password in plaintext

Hello Community,

after checking some dumps in SAP BW caused by MS Power BI I noticed that the dumps show the users password in plaintext. 

Can anybody tell me how to overcome that?

If I understand your sceanrio correctly that you have problems when connecting data from SAP BW in Power BI Desktop?

If it is, which connector do you use? SAP BW Messager Server or SAP BW Appilication Server?

In addition, could you share the screenshots about your sceanrio if it is convenient so that we could help further on it?

thank you for your response, I am using the 2.0 connector and I am connecting to the BW application server. 

My problem is not about the general connection, this is working allright but if the Power BI - SAP BW connection runs into a dump - for whatever reason - the dump shows the users password in plaintext. 

I am asking if there is something I can do about that behaviour?
