In power apps cavnas app i have strings for example
##94032ds###ds#fflsd##dfd#
i want to remove all character # at the begging of string for example
##94032ds###ds#fflsd##dfd# -> 94032ds###ds#fflsd##dfd#
######94032ds###ds#fflsd##dfd# -> 94032ds###ds#fflsd##dfd#
How to do this ?
Hi,
each Text.TrimStart([text],"#")
Stéphane
You can use the Match function to do that:
Match("##94032ds###ds#fflsd##dfd#", "^#*(?.+)$").restOfString
Regular expressions can be very useful in these scenarios, even if they are not the easiest to understand. I've found the site https://regex101.com/ useful to help explaining those. In this case, we are looking at the beginning of the string for all instances of the '#' character, followed by anything else, which I named 'restOfString' - which can then be retrieved from the result of Match.
Hope this helps!
