Refreshing from a sharepoint list errors

To start this is the latest version of Power BI, Power BI Desktop and SharePoint Online...

I have a dataset/report that was created in Power BI desktop and published. The data source is a sharepoint list. When I go into Power BI I can see the report and data sets. I can create a new report. However, if I go into SharePoint and update the list with a new record and make sure the data is saved, the report AND dataset is not updated online in Power BI.

In Power BI, If I click on Refresh Now it takes me to the Settings-->DataSets page. On that page I see Data Source Credentials greyed out and Scheduled Refresh is bold. If I click on Schedule Refresh, nothing happens.

If I go back into Power BI Desktop, edit the query and refresh, the new data shows up.

So, there are multiple issues going on here

1) data refresh is not working in Power BI against a SharePoint List using Refresh Now option

2) cannot schedule refresh against a SharePoint List

Any help thoughts on this? It is a bit maddening....

Thanks,

Frank
