Refresh Dashboard

Hi,

I have created a Power BI dashboard using Power BI Desktop. The dashboard is using a dataset that comes from a SQL database. All the tables are imported to Power BI via Direct Query. Next, I publish the dashboard do myworkspace and I would like the dashboard to automatically refresh every time new data is added to the database or every minute for example.

At the moment I'm getting an error saying there is no gateway to acces the data source.

Could anyone please help me to set it up?

Hi @LauraBueno 

For any On-Premise source i.e. source not on cloud, we need to install GateWay for creating a connection through service. Please see below ref docs on further details.
