Hi,
- I have installed PowerBI enterprise gateway on an onpremis computer.
- I have created two data sources in PowerBI whcih point to two different sql server database tables.
- I can access the databases from that computer.
- My users have adequet permisions.
- PowerBI says they are Online and good to go.
- I can't see the data in Power BI.
What do I do now? Is this a bug? This is really frustrating.
After I did a bit of investigation I am getting the following messages in the log:
Failed to execute the command ' -SetupGatewayForAppMode b9eed145-063c-4663-abe1-e876a82f2095@c90fbba4-a23b-43fe-ab72-b13e490e48d9@202a1df9-0664-485f-8e29-ee8e334212da@sea#/LvGiH6S89xXFMFdz95SzYsToG7ovAjn2BiGddUiPQk='. Error message: An error occurred while sending the request.

This would indicate there is a firewall problem but what address is it trying to access. If it is a connection problem why is PowerBI Enterprise gateway saying everything is ok.
