Query Referencing Performance

Is referencing other queries better in terms of perfomance than keep inserting source from sharpoint link for every query?

Thanks in advance

Generally, yes. More emphatically yes the bigger the table, or more resource intense the compute. Better to connect to the data source once, add any steps that all of the reference tables would otherwise use and then add the reference queries. Unless your reference ends generating a small table or list, in which case you can test a more direct (specific) query.
