Hi Experts,
At Power Query, I added "run Python script" step and I found leading zeros were removed automatically, how to avoid this?
Before "Run Python script" step, you can see Company and Month columns are both text fields.
Then I added a python step, without adding any python codes.
Leading zeros are removed! How to avoid this situation?
Thanks.
Hi @Tom_Li ,
From my perspective, it seems like a temporary type conversion has been carried out in the middle, and then the leading 0 is simplified.
To a certain extent, it is like the internal working principle rather than some kind of error, but since I am not very familiar with the internal working principle, I would suggest you that try to contact the power query development team for details.
