Power BI Desktop has an option to run Python scripts in Power Query:
Can I find the same option in Excel's version of Power Query?
My business requirement is to connect to raw data hosted as Sharepoint Excel sheets (exported from an SAP database), clean the data (the cleaning will be done most easily in Python + Power Query), then host the final cleaned data as an Excel sheet for end-users to view.

Hi, thanks for the support. Is there any way to integrate Power Query into this workflow? We are still undecided on using a hybrid of Power Query and Python to accomodate users who may not be familiar with coding.
