Hello,
I have installed a personal gateway and it worked fine until last Tuesday. The connection failed. Also after re installation the same issue exists. Maybe it is something with the computer network I am on, but any idea where to look for a solution?
I get this message.

@Anonymous ,
I found it keeps showing “ A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond” when analyzing the “GatewayErrors20190301.000000000.log”. This error message indicates this is a connection problem between Gateway and remote server.
In this scenario, I would suggest you creating a Fiddler trace, Fiddler is a free tool from Telerik that monitors HTTP traffic. You can see the back and forth with the Power BI service from the client machine.
Generally, this problem is related to connectivity to Azure Service bus or a block port in your firewall, please test connectivity to Azure Service bus following the guide in this article and check your firewall with this list: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-onprem#ports.
Regards.
