Hi everyone,
I need to access a database every day to check the weight of a production line that is connected to an online server. The wheight system sends every weight data directly to the server.
However, when I update the query or change the filter of my powerbi sheets, the scales stop due to an error sending the data.
Are there any changes I can make to the data query to solve this issue? Because I can't stop the production line every time I need to query data.
Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous
You can refer to this doc about creating a view in SQL Server. Then connect Power BI to this view.

Thank you all!
The problem was solved by creating a view of the records table.
There's really not enough information to answer this, but, if I had to guess, you could try changing to 'Import' mode if you are currently using 'Direct Query' mode.

Thank you, but i cant work in "Import" because there is too much data.
I think the problem is related with the fact the scales are writing is in the same sql table that the power bi is reading.
I have an idea that in the older sql the problem was solved by creating an auxiliary table (view table) in sql, but I don't remember how to do it.
Thank you

How much is "too much" data?
It sounds very much like you're running into table locking issues or something similar.
The query that you are running, how long does it take to complete if you run it in SQL?
