Problem with XML Import in PowerBi

Dear PowerBi Community,

I have a xml file which all my data unfortunately. I don't have another format and I am used to use xml.

It seems like a Problem to import the data. If i import the data with one single line no error approves.

But If I take the second line (have the same struktur, only other values) he fails with the error:

Xml processing failed. Either the input is invalid or it isn't supported.

(Internal error: There are multiple root elements. Line 2, position 2.)

So my first guess was that my xml file is corrupt. So I tried to Import it in

Ultraedit and File Viewer Plus. Which are xml Parser and they show me correct the xml Tree and Values.

Ask me anytime for Questions.

Hi @DenisO

I connect to this xml file with Power BI Desktop

(save this xml file on my local server, then select Home->XML, select this file from my server),

it works fine on my side.

Could you share with me your test xml file so i can reproduce your problem?

You could paste your content inside the xml file here or upload the file online (for example, OneDrive for bussniess), then share the link here.

Best Regards

Maggie
