Hi,
When I add a new table in Power Query through a dataflow and apply the changes, it does not only load the new table but also loads my existing fact table even though I haven't done any changes to that. The loading time is therefore increased significantly since the fact table contains almost 2 million rows. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening?
I have tried to disable "Include in report refresh" without any luck, and disabling "Enable load" is not an option since this table is basically the base of the report.
Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for the solution @lbendlin provided, I want to offer some informaiton fot the user to refer to.
hello,@asaetrang , based you description, you can consider to to use dataflow ,it can improve data refresh time and reduce impact on your data sources. you can refer to the following link.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/guidance/power-query-referenced-queries#recommendations
And you can consider to reduce the size of the data model to improve the refresh speed, you can refer to the following link.
