Power bi custom connector

Hello Everyone ,

I hope you all are doing well!

I am working on a custom connector for power bi and looking to make it interactive.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/handlingnavigationtables

Looking to make something like this but on clicking the table or selecting for instance "Airline", i want to make a query in the code and on clicking someother table icon want to execute a function that calls a rest api with that query and parameters. // Selecting and deselecting the table(checkboxes) needs to make a query depending on what i have selected.

My question is , is it possible to do something like this ?

The question that i am struggling with right now is : If i select a checkbox and it appends that paramter to my query but if i deselect the paramter is there any way to remove that from my query.

I hope i was able to clearly explain my questions. If not , please feel free to message me . I am looking forward to your reply.

Hi, @Anonymous

I wonder which custom connector you connected to. You may apply the parameters to your m codes in 'Advanced Editor' and use query parameters  to control the result of the query.

Best Regards

Allan
