Hi nyamz,
To fix the DataFormat.Error: We couldn't parse the input provided as a Date value.
Details: 13-01-2015 in Power BI Power Query,
follow these steps:
1. Check Date Format:
Ensure the date format in the dataset matches the expected format in Power Query. The date '13-01-2015' suggests a 'dd-MM-yyyy' format.
2. Change Data Type:
- Go to the column causing the issue.
- Right-click and select `Change Type` -> `Using Locale`.
- Choose Date and select the appropriate locale (e.g., `English (United Kingdom) for 'dd-MM-yyyy').
3. Transform Column:
If the dates are in text format, use a custom column to transform them into the correct date format:
= Date.FromText(Text.Replace([YourDateColumn], "-", "/"))
4. Other Possibilities:
- Mixed data types in the column (example, text and dates).
- Inconsistent date formats within the same column.
- Empty or null values in the date column.
- Incorrect regional settings in Power BI.
These steps should help resolve the parsing error.
Ensure no other non-date values exist in the column to avoid issues.

Could you provide sample data? This error would occur when converting values into a date type. Look into the use of a locale:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powerquery-m/date-from
https://www.vivran.in/post/power-query-date-transformation-using-locale-text-to-date
Depending on your location settings a date value can be converted differently. You can solve this with the use of a locale.
