Hi,
I am setting up a makeshift ticketing system whereby emails to the benefits (HR) inbox are downloaded into a power query. As I want to be able to track response time and whether a ticket has been assigned and closed, the responses to the questions must also be written in the query thus i had set up a "reply" column where each response to each email can be typed within the same power query. what I am struggling with now is setting up a flow such that by clicking "run" a response will be sent to the original sender. I know how to create a manual trigger flow to send out to a particular group of recipients all at once. But I want to create a flow where emails are only sent (to each respective sender) if a response has been typed in the reply column. otherwise, blank emails would be sent out to every one who has sent an email into the benefits mailbox. I have also created an outbox tab, so once the response is sent, it will appear there. additionally, with each refresh, the reply column will get cleared out on the inbox tab and this avoids sending the same response over and over each sender each time the flow runs). my question is, how would I write this flow? manual trigger? automated? please help! thanks in advance 🙂
Hi @Anonymous ,
While you are building this based on Power Query, I think your question is really focused on Power Automate Flows, so you will likely get far more traction by posting this question in the Power Automate forums:
