Hi all, my IT desk reinstalled excel 2016 yesterday and since then my PowerQueries are no longer working. I had a large number of files that were located in a folder and was importing all the files in the folder to create one large spreadsheet. When I tried to start building this from scratch the Combine and Transform option no longer is available and from the Folder Location (Fig 1) it goes directly into the Power Query (Fig 2), without providing the step of Combine and Transform first. Anyone have any ideas as to how i can solve this. I have further steps in the query and it is impacting a dashboard that is utilised across sites.

You will need to use this article, basically starting over. The Excel 2016 version didn't have the nice combine and transform steps.

Alternatively, I recommend you go back to IT and have them install Excel 2019, Excel 2022, or better yet, Office 365, all of which do have the feature and your code will work with no changes.
