Hi Everyone,
I’ve noticed the Power Query editor in PowerBi is more robust than the one that is included in Excel. Is there any way to get the additional functionality from the PowerBI Power Query in Excel?
I ask because I have excels I frequently need to manipulate with the same actions routinely (delete columns, duplicates, unpivot, etc.) for purposes other than reporting. I’d love to save off some Power Query’s as steps so I can apply them every time in excel.
Does anyway know how to use the more robust functionality of the PowerBi Power Query Editor in Excel?

So. Turns out I was trying to use the Power Pivot functionality in excel and not the power query functionality. Fun times.

No, this is not possible. The features first gets rolled to PQ Online, then PBI Desktop and in the end to PQ Excel. All 3 are distinct products and unless Microsoft bundles the features into a particular product, you can't bring it inside a particular PQ product.
