Hi,
I have created a Excel Power Query table in Excel 365 for company users, that accesses a Salesforce report using my company credentials (production). This excel report is to be accessed by multiple users. The excel workbook is placed in a Sharepoint folder accessible to users.
However, when other users try to open the excel file, it shows the Salesforce login screen to them. As they donot have access to Salesforce, the report does not refresh for them.
Is there a workaround?
The preferred option would be to give these users SFDC access.
This is not possible due to limited licenses. I am looking for alternatives to current approach.
Another option would be for you to run the Excel refresh and for your users to consume the results. You may want to check with your legal and procurement department if your license terms allow that.
How is that possible using Excel Power Query refresh?
