Hi I am struggling to find a solution to an issue where my raw Data in a column has decimal places e.g:
Part | qty |
Bar 1 | 0.3 |
Bar 2 | 0.5 |
Bar 3 | 1.2 |
Bar 4 | 0.2 |
When Power Query is closed and loaded this Column returns whole numbers :
Part | qty |
Bar 1 | 0 |
Bar 2 | 1 |
Bar 3 | 1 |
Bar 4 | 0 |
I have tried to transform > round > then change decimal places to 2 this hasnt worked also when rounded up or down this has no effect.
The column type is set to Int.64
Does anyone have any ideas as this is causing discrepences on stock levels in the report.
Many Thanks

Hi thanks yes changed the Int64.Type to type number and it resolved the issue.
The Int data type is integer, so you need to change it to fixed decimal instead.
