Power Query Issue

Hi,

I need to import data using Power Query. However, I am not getting the right values. It seems that Power BI automatically applies these two steps (red) when I import a dataset. I dont want this to occur since it changes the 0.57 to .56999999.

With Red Steps:

Without the red steps, that value with long decimal place does not appear anymore.

If I delete these two steps and save it, it automatically comes back when I refresh it. However, it messes up the value of that 0.57. Any method to be able to remedy this?

Hi @Anonymous

The current table is not in a standard table format. After you delete those red steps, remove the top 3 rows. Then promote the 1st row (the old 4th row) as column headers. Then change all columns to appropriate data types. This will convert the original table into a standard table.

Save the query and refresh it again. See if these changes can be remained.

I already made these steps but the problem is the red circle steps that are automatically added whenever I save it. So I save it right? Then when I edit the table again, it adds that step automatically. This makes my 0.57 reformatted to 0.5699999.
