Power Query - HTML and JavaScript

Hi,

I have a table visual with some reference numbers (MAWB column below) that should allow users to click on each MAWB number with a hyperlink, and it will bring the users to an external airline website with the result of that particular MAWB number.

In the below example, there are 3 MAWB numbers in a table visual and I want to create a clickable URL link for each MAWB number with external link. When the users click on 105-59000675 that is operated by Finnair, Power BI will redirect users to Finnair's official website (which is an external link) with the search result of 105-59000675.

As per Finnair's tracking website, the HTML method they are using is based on POST method to pass the variables and hence the URL link highlighted in YELLOW does not contain the MAWB number.

In order to make it work, I want to put some HTML and JavaScript codings into Power Query under the "Advance Editor" screen with the hidden link that is not showing up in the Finnair URL.

I am not sure whether the M language in Power Query can do HTML or JavaScript or not.

If yes, how to put the coding in place and make the above requirement workable?

Using Power Query you can build URL as text but only when loaded you can convert to hyperlink

Hi @Mariusz ,

Based on the suggestion in the video, I think this is only for the airlines with a visible MAWB number in their URL link (ie. GET method in HTTP).

Our main question is for the POST method without the MAWB number in the URL link (see Finnair's screen shot above).

Any idea how to do this?
